So, here it is. My first official attempt at an entry from my Pearl.
If you've been in the loop lately, you'll be aware that a new house build is in the immediate future. It should be in progress as I type, but we ran into a couple of snares. A Few months ago, we picked out a lot, submitted a floor plan, and tried to sell our house. But, due to the time it took us to sell our home, we were forced to give up our first choice and settle with a different one. We sold our house, got financing in place and started the final drawings. That's when we found out we were four feet too narrow! So, here we are, a few grand higher in price, waiting for the details of our third possible future piece of land. Hope to have things finalized soon.
In the mean time, I'm fervently trying to finish the basement suite in the rental home. Anyone a pro at hanging doors?
